Adam Lambert Took On An Amazing Tina Turner Classic And He Absolutely Owned It
-
There is really only one word to describe Adam Lambert, and he has earned it with the music he performs. The word would be ‘amazing’, and although there may be other words that describe him, you really can’t get away from how amazing he is.
When you hear Adam Lambert singing, it’s always as if he is reaching a new height and trying to outdo anything that he had ever done before. This happened recently when he put on a performance at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre.
This wasn’t just a performance of Acid Queen, he took on a Tina Turner song and he didn’t just sing it, he absolutely lived every word. It was a powerhouse of emotion and the audience had to sit and stare while he nailed every single note.
Acid Queen is from the Who’s Tommy at Broadway Backwards. It was an evening where many stars came together in order to enjoy what each other had to offer. It also was a benefit of the LGBTQIA+ community, as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center and a tribute.
One of the highlights of the evening was when Adam Lambert stood up on stage. Everybody knew that they were in for something special, and he did not disappoint.
