‘Beautiful Young Girl’ D.ies Days After Car Crash: 17-Year-Old High School Senior D.ies in Car Accident…

She was described as a “beautiful young girl” who “just lit up the place.” The youngster who passed away as a result of an automobile accident in Massachusetts is being remembered as such.
The Duxbury Police Department issued a press statement stating that on September 14, at around 12:20 a.m. local time, officials responded to a complaint of a single-vehicle collision into a tree on Harrison Street. The incident was reported to have occurred on Harrison Street. When they arrived, they discovered that Maddie Straub, a Pembroke resident who was 17 years old and had been recognized by her loved ones, was the only passenger of the car and the driver of the vehicle.
Based on the information provided by the police, the jaws of life were used in order to extract Straub, who was unconscious, from the vehicle before she was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
Two days later, on Monday, September 16, the medical examiner informed the police that the girl had passed away as a consequence of the injuries she had sustained.
An inquiry into the collision is now being carried out.
The Duxbury Police Department issued a statement that read, “Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family of the victim.”
The loss of the adolescent was expressed by the Hobomock Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) in a message that was shared on social media.
According to a post that was made on Facebook on September 17 by the Hobomock PTO, “Pembroke has lost an amazing and beautiful young girl, Maddie Straub, in a car accident.” Maddie was a senior at Silver Lake High School and resided in Pembroke. She was a college student.
The board member of Pembroke Youth Baseball and Softball, George Howe, described Straub as a “sweetheart of a girl” who had a wide grin in an interview with the Fox affiliate WFXT. Straub was a member of the Pembroke Youth Baseball and Softball organization.
“When she laughed, she seemed to light up the entire place,” Howe said. “She was exactly that kind of kid — she was just a wonderful, wonderful child.”
In an effort to provide assistance to her family, a Meal Train fundraising campaign has been started, and as of Wednesday, September 18, it has collected more than $22,000.
Additionally, Silver Lake Warriors Football, a youth football club, has announced that they would be taking contributions on behalf of the girl’s family at all of their Saturday home games. In a statement, they said, “Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated as we come together to help them through this difficult time.”
In memory of the young person, Pembroke Youth Baseball & Softball will be holding a candlelight vigil on the evening of September 18 to pay tribute to the young person.
