Joe Biden Embarrasses Americans As He Poses And Smiles For Selfies At Pope Francis’ Funeral
It’s not uncommon for us to go to a funeral and see friends and family that we haven’t seen in many years. We are there to pay our respects to the dead, but it is also a time when we can connect with the living.
At the funeral of Pope Francis, dignitaries from around the world gathered together to pay their respects. This included former US Pres. Joe Biden, who is now being called out by many on social media after he was spotted doing something that others considered inappropriate.

Joe Biden was with his wife Jill at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City for the funeral of Pope Francis on April 26. The ex-president was seen smiling and posing for selfies with others at the funeral, and not everybody was happy about it.
Joe Biden has spoken highly of Pope Francis, and he is the second Roman Catholic who served as president after John F. Kennedy. He referred to Pope Francis as a ‘light of faith and love’.

After the head of the Catholic Church passed away, Biden said: “He was unlike any who came before him. Pope Francis will be remembered as one of the most consequential leaders of our time and I am better for having known him.”
He went on to say: “He made all feel welcome and seen by the Church. He promoted equity and an end to poverty and suffering across the globe. And above all, he was a Pope for everyone. He was the People’s Pope – a light of faith, hope, and love.”
