Sources Say The ‘Cancer-Free’ Kate Middleton Is A ‘Different Person’

When you think back to the year that the royal family had in 2024, it is quite amazing. The world has been watching them very closely, especially with the health difficulties that King Charles and the Princess of Wales have been facing.

Princess Kate is now facing the year with a gradual return to the work that she was accustomed to doing. She was more visible recently, and many are looking forward to seeing her more often. That being said, she is still recovering and some say that she is not her old self yet.

Kate Middleton shared some news in September 2024 that she was finished with her chemotherapy treatment and now she was cancer-free. In addition, the former press secretary for Queen Elizabeth, Ailsa Anderson said that her health improved and she was looking better.

Anderson said: “Each time we see her, she’s looking better and better.”

A friend that is close to the family, however, has revealed that Kate is not yet ‘back to normal’ and despite her return to royal duties, she is not fully up to speed.

They said: “She is focused on herself and her family right now, rightly.”

According to another insider, she has changed as a result of her battle with cancer and is now working to face that change as she returns to her royal duties.

The source said: “You can’t go through something like that and come out the other side unchanged. She is a different person now.”

Yet another source spoke about her abilities, saying: “She has to get back on top of it. And she will if she is left alone to work it out for herself. She won’t be going back to work in the same way for a long time.”

Princess Kate spent the majority of 2024 out of the spotlight after her cancer diagnosis, which she announced in March 2024. She had to go through chemotherapy and recover, but now that she is back from that health crisis, she is making a shift to working more often.

According to royal biographer, Sally Bedell Smith: “She is very much in control of her return to public life. She is doing what works best for her.”

It is also thought that both Kate and Prince William are looking more toward their family now that they have been through this difficult time. Kate is still healing, and she also shared her thoughts about the journey, saying: “The cancer journey is complex, scary.”
